Abersoch OFFAXIS - SURFING Hire, Courses, Shop | WAKEBOARDING Hire, Courses, Activities, Club/Assoc, Shop | PWC Club/Assoc | POWERBOAT Courses, Club/Assoc.  OFFAXIS runs a Wakeboard and Surf Academy with a pro-shop in Abersoch that supports both activities with premium equipment brands and practical product advise. The shop is used as a base from where all our Surfing Lessons run. For tuition hire or sales one of our friendly staff will be on hand to help and advise. Plus we carry a number of core clothing brands namely LOST, PUKAS, MYSTIC & ELEMENT; that are not readily available in high street stores. Our 'CLWB Offaxis' is located in Pwllheli and forms the base from where our wakeboarding Academy is run. We have our own private slip ramp, pontoons, changing rooms, showers and bar lounge that serves food. Courses and Hire delivered from Abersoch Main Beach. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to improve your skills; whether you want to achieve an RYA accreditation or just learn to sail/powerboat/windsurf/kayak confidently; whether you are interested in mono, multi-hull, keelboats, powerboats, windsurfers or kayaks our dedicated team of RYA (Royal Yachting Association) instructors will ensure you have a safe and enjoyable time out on the water. Lessons, courses and hire available - from 1 hour to 3 days in duration. We also offer own boat tuition and gift vouchers to any value or course. All ages welcome. No experience needed. Full sailing gear provided. CORPORATE EVENTS - whether you are entertianing clients or looking to motivate or reward staff, we can organise a professional, fun and memorable experience for everyone. Shearwater Coastal Cruises & Dive Charters - DIVING Hire/Charter.  We cruise the coast of the Llyn Peninsula, visiting seal and seabird colonies, usually accompanied by the resident bottle nose dolphins. We also undertake Photo-ID work on dolphins for the Seawatch Foundation. We also carry out diving charters along the same coastline. The luxury charter cruiser 'Shearwater' also conducts twice-daily cruises through the Abersoch area, including the St. Tudwals Islands, down to Aberdaron. Based in Pwllheli Marina, 'Shearwater' offers easy access to passengers (including wheelchair users) from the marina walkway. Being a large catamaran motor cruiser, there is roomy accommodation on two deck levels and passengers can get close to the action from the bow viewing platform. If it becomes chilly, passengers can sit in the comfortable lounge, where a large TV monitor shows what is happening beneath the waves, from the underwater TV camera. The crew of Shearwater also undertake dolphin monitoring and Photo-ID tasks on behalf of the 'Seawatch Foundation', so if you want to know the name of the dolphin that has joined the boat for a bow-ride, they are likely to know. Their knowledge of the seals and breeding seabirds you see is also extensive. The large galley on board enables freshly brewed tea and coffee (and biscuits) to be provided on every trip.
