Surf Steps Surf Steps, Bournemouth Surf School, situated on Bournemouth beach, 500m from Boscombe pier, is the only British Surfing Association (BSA) Centre of Excellence based on the South Coast, and the closest to London. All our instructors are CRB checked and BSA Accredited Professional Surf Instructors with many years of experience. We offer a selection of different courses to suit all levels and requirements. Never surfed before? Beginner Lesson? Our Basic Group Lesson is a 2hr lesson, all equipment provided for £35.00pp, £30.00pp for under 16?s. During this lesson our instructors give you an introduction to water safety and beach awareness, then you learn how to trim and ride a board lying down, and hopefully by the end of the lesson, how to 'pop' up and ride the board standing up. Practice Sessions - Bridging the gap between your basic group lesson and buying your own equipment, practice lessons are perfect for those who have already had a lesson and have the undeniable urge to go back for more!!
