Skyelark Availability: June - October (UK south coast). Price: Boat and crew from £1200 per day. Coding: Cat 2 (12 guests plus 3 crew), Cat 0 (6). Accommodation: 10 berths. Skyelark is a simply gorgeous yacht, impressing guests from the moment they see her. Even from a distance she looks strikingly elegant, with a dark blue hull, polished stainless steel, and wooden teak decks. Down below is varnished teak and light upholstery creating a classic, luxury feel. On deck, there is a very large deep cockpit, and clean uncluttered decks that encourage guests to move around and socialise. Sailing-wise, the boat has a powerful rig and is fast and fun to sail, however she is no lightweight and with a long deep keel she is very stable and stiff which gains the confidence of novice sailors and allows for food and drink to be served easily on the move. The boat is skippered either by Dan Bower or Emily Pearson, who are well known on the Solent circuit and who regularly work as freelance skippers for most of the big name sailing companies. Both have over 5 years experience in corporate hospitality and events and are relaxed, fun and friendly and appreciate that it is as much the skipper as the boat that makes the clients's day.
