Shrewsbury Sub Aqua Club Welcome to Shrewsbury Sub Aqua Club! We are a BSAC dive centre (number 0626) based at the Quarry Pool in Shrewsbury. Members of Shrewsbury Sub Aqua Club have mixed diving abilities, ranging from beginner Ocean Divers to highly skilled Technical Divers, many of whom regularly take part in the calendar of dives and social events frequently organised by the club. We have a group of friendly and experienced instructors who take our divers through various training courses and qualifications, and there are additional skills development courses such as charterwork and boat handling on offer to members. Shrewsbury Sub Aqua Club meet every Thursday night from 7.30pm in the upstairs cafe at The Quarry Pool in Shrewsbury, and afterwards in the Bucks Head pub in Frankwell from around 9pm. Lectures and pool training all takes place in the Quarry centre, while we visit a wide range of locations to do open water dives. We also offer a range of diving holidays to suit many budgets, from diving with seals in Pembrokeshire to exploring the reefs and wrecks of the Red Sea in Egypt.
