Borth Rowing ClubBorth and Ynyslas Borth Rowing Club was founded in 2000, and has around 30 members of all ages and abilities. We row every week in our two Celtic Longboats all year round, enter competitions throughout the summer and always welcome new members. We coach all beginners and the coaching is provided by Qualified British Rowing Level 2 Coaches. We encourage people of all ages (from 12 to 70+) to participate. It also provide courses for sailing, power boating, windsurfing, kayaking, rowing and canoeing. The site is situated in the beautiful Cotswold Water Park and also provides pay and play facilities dependent on skill level, novice equipment available. We offer courses for all abilities from first time paddlers, to progressive whitewater and sea kayaking. We offer UKCC instructor training as well as other coaching Courses. Most of our activities are based from the Leam Boat Centre & Warwick Boats. But we also travel to the River Wye, Dee, Nene, trweryn, Thames - nationwide to enjoy the wide range of beautiful UK rivers & coastline. Explore Rowing Nationwide Explore Rowing is a British Rowing Programme designed to make the sport more flexible and to promote all types of rowing alongside the traditional competition pathway. We want to expand the options available for rowers to take part in the sport. Explore Rowing clubs are making new links with their local communities and rowers are finding fun and more flexible ways to enjoy rowing. It isn't just about welcoming new rowers, it's about providing our existing rowers with a whole range of act Grosvenor Rowing Club Chester River Dee, Chester We welcome new members from serious athlete to novices (and offer accredited Learn to Row courses for complete beginners - contact Chris on 07970 950 704). Our facilities are good - 10km+ stretch of uninterrupted water, a boathouse recently refurbished to house a new gym/land training facility and our own caterer providing cooked breakfasts and evening meals. We are a friendly and sociable club and are happy to accommodate training camps for visiting clubs. Lea Rowing Club The river Lea Lea Rowing Club is a rowing club that welcomes all people, of all ages and any experience in the sport of rowing - from beginner to international. Milton Keynes Rowing Club Caldecotte Lake, Milton Keynes We're a small, friendly (but competitive) rowing club based at Caldecotte Lake in Milton Keynes. Our members range in age from juniors through to Masters and in ability from complete beginners to very experienced rowers. We provide the options of both rowing and sculling and run regular 'Learn to Row' courses. Poole Rowing Club Poole Harbour We are the oldest sporting club in Poole, and have rowers / members of all ages ranging from 12 to 60. We offer recreational rowing as well as competitive racing. Rowing courses are run throughout the year, these 5 week rowing courses cost £10 and this money is taken of your membership should you wish to join after your course.   |
